Mint Interiors is a Johannesburg-based shopfitting and commercial interior fit-out company specialising in retail stores, restaurants, bars, offices, custom joinery and exhibition stands.
Mint Interiors is a preferred shopfitting contractor for turn-key shop fitting and customised joinery fixtures like counters, displays, point-of-sale units, promotional stands, partitioning and ceiling features for the retail and commercial sectors, as well as custom table tops and table bases, seating and banquettes.
Restaurant & bar fittings like cocktail and food counters, tables, bulkheads and wall features, as well as interior fittings for the corporate sector. We also manufacture various woodwork products for the domestic sector like bars, wine racks, wall units, entertainment centres and executive studies.
Our work philosophy is that we are shopfitting contractors, and this is what we do best — and this is all we do. We partner as contractors with leading South African and international designers and architects to achieve perfection. Should you need an interior designer, we can refer you to a designer or architect best suited to the work required.
We provide a full woodworking workshop — solid timbers, veneered boards and melamine — plus a full steel production facility and spray booth for clear and colour finishes.
What we do
We have fitted more than 50 restaurants and as many retail shops in the past 15 years, from Cape Town to Durban to Johannesburg, Maputo and Harare — bringing to life some of the most advanced design ideas thrown at us, across Mediterranean, Italian, Greek and Indian cuisine concepts. Restaurants we've fitted include Doppio Zero Group, PizaeVino, Modern Tailors, Ghazal, Proud Mary, Streatery, Van Der Linde, Pappas on the Square, The Venue, Aduna Bistro and Sebule @ African Pride Hotel and branches of La Parada, Tiger's Milk, Piatto, Mimmo's and Colcacchio.
You want your office space to be as functional as possible and pleasant for the people working in it, while being strikingly different and memorable to clients from the moment they walk in. We've delivered this for 20+ blue-chip South African and international companies — non-standard wall coverings, pause units, coffee stations and kitchenettes, reception desks, ceiling features, hand rails, dado rails, skirting and balustrades.
We mainly service Johannesburg, West Rand, East Rand, Sandton, Randburg, Fourways, Alberton, Benoni, Germiston, Rosebank, Pretoria, Centurion, Midrand and the rest of Gauteng. We take on large projects anywhere in South Africa — Limpopo, Eastern Cape, Western Cape, Mpumalanga, North West, Northern Cape and the Free State — and internationally for selected projects, including completed hospitality fit-outs in Harare (Zimbabwe), Gaborone (Botswana), Maputo (Mozambique), Dar es Salaam (Tanzania) and Nairobi (Kenya).
